Hi, I heard that you need an international student card or a passport in order to verify your student status. I don't have an international student card and I'd rather not carry my passport around Athens with me (my parents and I were pickpocketed in Rome a few years ago, so we've been paranoid ever since). I'm wondering how necessary it is to have this ID on you for reduced entry? Does anyone have any experience with using the reduced student prices? Would they accept just a regular college student ID? Please help. Thanks! I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
